Plate mounted to swing arm from factory was upsidedown - got that corrected and all went well - could ahve a little better mounting instructions especially all the plastic inserts - doesn't fold against the wall as tight as I would like - however it does the job for me - veiwing angls is great for my bedroom - seems sturdy enough for my 26" Olevia -

For our 32 in tv that weighed 40 lbs., we installed with supplied screws and it pulled out of the wall. After purchasing longer screws, we installed and it is solid. Very nice mount for the price. Would recommend the longer screws for larger tv.

Now that I have installed 3 of these, it does get easier. The hardest part was finding that silly 2x4 but also dealing with metal bracing that is required for homes on the south coast region for protection against hurricanes. Another reason I purchased this model is the weight capacity which is listed at 66 lbs. Since my tv only weighs 30, I naturally double that and found this model to be on the safe side.

Overall it went well. Spent more time finding the silly stud to mount the LCD 503 to. I hung a Sylvania 20 inch that weighs only 11 lbs. I like the 4 screws to attach the 503 to the wall. More support even with this low weight. I may buy another to use in another room. Had issue with the defective metric fastener not meeting ASTM Standards. Worked around that issue.

Overall it worked out well. I liked the 4 large screws to mount it to the stud. The 20 inch LCD tv weighs only 11 lbs. I had a issue with a couple of metric fasteners being not meeting up with ASTM Standards. I worked out that problem and the system looks good in my garage.

The mount has been quite good. It strong enough for my 32 inch LCD TV. I like that I can have it in one position when I am at my desk using my TV as my computer monitor. Then pull the TV away from the wall (closer to the couch) for watching TV. Then put the TV back to the wall on the other side which then centers it for optimal Home Theater viewing. It also nice to pull it out and easily turn it towards the kitchen.\n\n When it's pushed against the wall the TV is about 6 inches from the wall. It tends to angle down a little towards each side. Straight out in front is always nice and level. It's not too noticible, but I am really picky. A simple loosening of a screw on the mount and it can be re-leveled. So that can be a downside, but my TV is at limits of what it says it will handle. If you have a smaller TV, I doubt you will have any problems.
